i have been fishing alot in the last week,i have fished all my usal spots, had lots of bites,but no fish,i thought it might have been the hook size,so i fished one day with small 1/0 hooks, lots of bites no fish, then the next day, size 3/0 hooks,lots of bites no fish,
i just cant understand whats going on? am i striking to late? or to soon?
any thoughts? |

You sure about those hook sizes? You're more llikely to miss bites with bigger hooks. Scale down to 1 or even 2. A small hook will still hold a big fish.

Hook snoods too long if the bites were "unmissable" or possibly crabs if they were slow tugs |

i never fish for a type of fish, i fish for anything,that was the hook sizes i was using, 1/0 3/0 ,,3 hook flaper, long flow rigs,
as for the hook snood, is shorter better???? or longer?? some of the rigs i have, have very long snoods, |
