I've seen a few posts on this in the past, apparently they don't make it up to the Jetty with Southend Pier being pretty much their limit. God Knows why - maybe some kind of aversion to Canvey Island??
Would be interesting to know why actually - any ideas anyone?? I'm going to be down the Jetty on Saturday spinning, plugging and feathering for anything that's about so maybe I'll prove the theory wrong. |

give dolphin angling a bell at gravesend, the furthest i have heard them on occassions is up the sea school around ship n lobster, strange it seems as its dark an muddy here, but hey, im not a fish so i cant say they dont.... must be something attracting them, possibly they are following the bait fish??
