I have 2 12ft rods is a 5ft tripod big enough or not? any help would be welcome

I use that size for my 12ft 14ft and 15ft, the only time i have a problem is in high winds, or when moby dick runs off with my bait dragging it over. Cheers...Mick
PS, I usually tie a piece of string to the forward leg and anchor it in bad weather. |

5ft should be ideal, you will notice that you will have a hook hanging down between the 3 legs, at the top by the cups, you can tie a rock to that or even a carrier bag full of pebbles,shingle or sand to add stability in strong winds |
