hi everyone,
just wondering if someone has any info on fishing barmston or this area as im going on holiday there soon.any info will be great and appreciated as my daughter wants to come with me.will maccy be around in a week or two?dont know anything about this area.thanks in advance

Its like most of the east coast from spurn to Brid, however you will need to watch the tide times and my advice would be to fish it 2 hours up and all the way down. Fresh lug or live peeler loaded on any pennel or pully rigs will do, if you can get any squid it would be worth tipping the hook once your main bait is on . I would suggets 2 rods if possible one at 100yards plus and the other 40-60 yards. If your on holiday there try to look for the deep gullys at low water and make note of how far they are out and place a marker on the beach. If you can find rocky rough ground try it there first, if the beach is sandy then you should pick up flatties and the odd smoothy or even skate. The calmer the better is the motto for Barmston. thanks for the info,dont know the area.so your help is great.ill sure to have a look at low water for gullies and take note,i have not been fishing a while, friend and i used to go the east coast alot norfolk.odd trip to felixstowe.had a good few sessions.im looking forward to fishing somewhere different.like the sound of the odd smooth or skate.
is there any bait shops near?

Hi jamie, the best bait shop i know is in Brid, its the little hut set in the corner at the end of the south pier, you go down the ramp towards the pier halfway down are some steps, the bait shop is at the bottom, cheers....Mick |
