How far up the estuary are the cod being caught, does any one know? I've been trying near Tilbury for anything and caught nothing. Any suggestions on what rigs to use??

as far as i can see and have seen, they are really only as far as canvey at the moment, but im sure with the influx of whiting this coming weekend and the lack of food, they will soon move up river to feed!

Thanks for the pully rig tip Daiwa, went to coalhouse fort in the early hours, spooky place, not a comfortable place to fish alone, anyone else tried there yet? If so have you caught anything? still no luck my end, thinking of trying Southend or Canvey at the weekend.

Hello, Iss'. I've just joined as well!!
I'm either doing Walton Pier or Felixstowe Friday. I'll try and pm you with results.
