what fly colours would be ideal for fishing coloured waters in local harbours. fancy having a go saturday am but the water is very coloured,or is best to leave it until clearer cheers mick |

Hi Mick,
Just try a good variation and swap your flies around and see what happens or you could try the surface poppers etc.

Im fishing the Sunday low tide at SP,get there in the dark and fish on through if ya fancy a blast.

aint simon other half working until 10-30 ,may come over later if you dont mind ,i know you got no friends .just trying my hand tying some red tags ,do you reckon other colours would work aswell tightlines mate |

Black flies are said to be the most effective in coloured water Mick, same applies to night fishing. Slow retreive to give the fish a chance of seeing them. Col. |
