Think we should setup a little 4-5 hours session locally first and then maybe soon pop up to aldebrough/southwold/walton in a few weeks time when the codling start getting more substantial?
I will have to wait to find out when tho. It MIGHT be OK next Sunday. I'll let you know.
Being as you've been to more local places any suggestions. The only one I've been to really is Shoebury East. |

yeah. have car mate. never been to fambridge. Generally prefer beach as I find it relaxing and plenty of room. went to Essex Marina once and hated it - no bank room, very strong tide left to right/right to left. not much fun. Fambridge OK for room etc? You catch much there generally? Presume river? And is southend pier ok these days? Up for trying something new tho.... |

am the same as you mate, i hate not having room to fish, fambridge is a estury, saltwater, its nice and peacefull over there, the water can be very fast moving over there, somtimes,i have had good days and bad days there, more good than bad, that is where i have had some of my biggest fish,
as for the peir its strange at the moment, most people fish at the very end as they think its deeper water,it is but there are not much fish there, i have my own spot on the peir that has been good to me this year, for fish, when other people have nothing, |

I'll keep an eye on the weather as the week progresses and we'll decide later in the week where to go? Yeah? |

Thanx for the info on Southend Pier.....
One other question .....
Can you tell me where the local tackle shop is for fresh worm ?
I got plenty of frozen squid, mackeral and sprats, but no lob or rag.
Thanx again..
