Yep, Im a member of The haven Angling group, not that I actualy have the time to get to any matches, but it seemed like an idea at the time |

Can't be bothered I have seen too many social Fisherman turn into trophy hunters and boring company as a result of joining clubs. |

dai-bando ,there is a fishing club based in mumbles [not sure of their name but will try to find out for you ] i now that they have their own boat and go on regular trips abroad and take their own boat over to ireland a few times a year ,as soon as i can find out details ill send you a pm

I joined Perranporth SAC its more social than competative. Just an excuse to meet for fishing or a pint and chat about fishing really! |

exactly. Its unlikely I will even weigh in any fish as I usually fish at night, get a couple hours sleep then go to work and don't expect they would want me banging on the door at 4am to get a fish weighed in.
I will only be weighing something in if I think is a record and the chances of me catching a record are slim to none! |

hi dai, there is an angling club in the steel works. im not sure if its connected to the longor short arm, but i know they have regular meets and evenings in the sports club.
