Royboy, the Wife and I all fished Spurn Road opposite the big car park (back of lighthouse from just after 10am - 1pm. Roy had a Bass, about 1.7lb on his first chuck so we thought this was going to be a good session but it just proved to be a nightmare and complete waste of good bait due to the Crabs being out in force, I reckon bait was only lasting 5 mins!
Once moved down to 44 we knew we wouldn't have long on the small tide but we got 3 rods out and the Wife had decent bites every cast using a 2 Hook Paternoster with fresh lug and ended up with 3 flatties, none of keep size but at least she did not blank like me |

me thinks Sniper it must be the bait we dug because i blanked as well lol.
Ive just finished the last of the cod in my frezer for me tea, so the rods are away for 3-4 weeks until those tasty skate and bass are in good numbers.
keep posting and tight lines... Rick |
