Fishing Shoebury soon. Either SHoebury East Beach, or Shoebury by the Yathc club. Any advice on which is best, fish? tactics? Thanks

i have had lots of good fishing in these spots from the beach,southend is great at the moment, lug worm is a killer bait, as with rag,1 up 1 down rig, or long flow works best, lots of bass, flounder,dont know why but crab bait is not working at the moment,

ANy thoughts on what beach would be best with a northerly breeze? ALso, do yuo fish the Gas Jetty? Where is it?

thats where i fish in southend off the beach the old gas jetty,its where all the boats are tyed up, there is a pipe line going out to sea,you can find it at low tide,fish the left hand side of it,a west wind is the best to fish there,am going there soon, if your not sure give us a shout, and i will come down i stay 5 mins from the beach,

Went today. Opposite pub on south facing SHoebury beeach. End of sea front. Not a sausage. May go to East Beach tomorrow morning. Tide 9am ish. Anyone know when the car park opens on a sunday? Also any more info on exactly where the ga jetty is would be appreciated. Thanks Daiwa

the old gas jetty, is on southend beach, not to far from the sea life aquarim centre,it is an old striped out building that runs in to the sea, dont fish close to it lots of snags, fish about 200 yards to the left beside the pipe line,you will see it at low tide,
