I have a desire to learn all i can about beach fishing. I can't give you a world shattering reason for (at the age of 46) suddenly wanting to take up the sport, but I want to and i'm going to!
To date, my sea fishing expierience is, two days fishing off a boat, once off swansea the other so long ago i can,t remember the location.
I have located my local sea angling club. Burton on Trent, and will be attending their club night to sort out how to take my "desire" further.

If you are reading this and can suggest reading material or DVD's, for some self tuition, i would welcome recommendations.

I have no equipment so suggestions for the "tackle" would also be very helpful

Hi Gremlin,

Subscribe to the sea fishing mags (loads of good tips) and have a browse on the net for books. There are some good 'uns out there. Some are quite old but the advice is still as good today as it was when they were written.

Don't get disheartened when you blank. Just being out there is sometimes good enough.
