Royboy, Tommy and I fished Easington today in front of the Caravans where the wooden steps are from 0700hrs - 1500hrs and we all blanked.

Royboy did catch a Slug but in my opinion they don't count and we all had a few crabs between us and a bit of weed.

Bait used was fresh Lug on Penell Pulley Rigs.

No wind, sea calm just a shame that no fish out to play.

Hello Sniper, perhaps it was just too calm, after all cod like a good tide rip or sea swell just as much as bass, better luck next time mate, at least you tried and you do have to fish, to catch. happy

It looks like the further south you go the more weed there is looking at other sites.. Im torn between Hornsea north or Spurn. People dont realise how rough it was over the week end. some of the holes have totally gone.
Need a few low tides to find the holes again. Looks like a light SSW for weekend, might just blow weed away with a bit of luck.
