look in yellow pages.--i am sure there will a dealer in your area.
take your bearings with you to get them sized
ask for quality bearings
i always use, rocket fuel oil --yellow for quick,--red to slow my reels down
the company i use for bearings,--swan bearings.
using bearings without dust covers may spray oil about
why did you remove dust covers to clean?

Yeah I would do the same. Take the bearings down to your local tackle dealership and get them looked up for size properly, otherwise you can prob do more damage to the reel!

a good bearings company have experts on hand to advise you and measure your bearings.--if you compair prices, you will be supprised, or even shocked at the difference

put your bearings into a small plastic container with lid,[i use small film containers] pour in some lighter fuel,--let them soak for a little while, then shake the container gently. --remove bearings from container,--emty and clean out container, put clean lighter fuel in and repeat.
when you take bearings out [second time],lay them on paper towel till they have dried out completely, then put a couple of drops of oil into bearings,--rotate ball race gently, replace in reel.
WARNING!!, DO NOT ROTATE BEARINGS DURING CLEANING UNTILL YOU HAVE REPLACED OIL --AND DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT LIGHTER FUEL OR YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE
make sure your new bearing have some decent oil in before use
