We fished the River Ore where we have been having some good bass fishing and all we managed to get were some eels. The tide didn't come up any higher than normal. There was an easterly wind blowing and I've often found that's the kiss of death in the estuaries. Might be going there this Friday, I will do a report if I go.

concrete.

the water was the deepest i have ever seen on the peir,,there were a lot of anglers on the peir more than i have ever seen before!!i went down the very end of the peir to see what was going on and i spoke to other anglers and they never had a bite!! and i had took in over 10 by this point!!strange??i never fish the end of the peir as there is to much snags!and i hate loosing gear!! not a lot of people know where the gut is on the peir, but its the best spot to fish, when your not stuck in the shelters!! there was 3 of us fishing the peir that day and we took out over 50 fish between the 3 of us!! bite after bite you should have seen peoples faces!! the guys i was with have both fished there for over 20 years and know the spot well!!
