Just joined this and a few other forums as after a 20 year gap, decided to have another go with fishing. I used to do a lot as a kid, mainly off Gillingham Pier and other Medway spots, occasional boat trips from Ramsgate and such-like.
I now live in Sussex, not far from Pevensey and Eastbourne so fancy trying some beach-casting as not tried it before, as well as any piers/breakwaters locally. Not got any gear yet, but am amazed at the new stuff about, so doing a bit of reading up in the meantime!
