Hello folks. I am after a smallish, lightweight fixed spool reel that will be used for mainly rock and stone jetty fishing (spinning). Ideally it should hold around 200 yards of 15 pound line. I don't really want to pay more than forty pounds.
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Chris |

i recently got the shimano exage 4000rb reel and altho ive not pulled any fish with it, it seems like a nice little reel. i thing its about £50 after P&P on ebay but look around.
if your looking for a small spinning reel you might find it hard to get one with 200yd of 15lb line unless your using braid. most 15lb are .35ish in diameter. my reel will only hold 130 yards of this. |

I like the diawa's but they can be pricey....otherwise the penn is a good deal. |

I like Diawas too - they do the BF5500 for about £25, I have two and for the money they cast well and are very smooth. |
