Hi all you northerners, I and The Shadow had a try for thornbacks on Isle of Sheppy today venue called Barton point in Minster photos below.
We were so busy with all the activity (we both blanked) we got talking about why when south of the Thames it's all talk about thornbacks, north of the Thames no discussion, the question we asked ourselves is do thornbacks not cross the Thames or is it that you lot just keep silent!!!
So come on someone give us some info
From Bartons point looking towards Leysdown
From Bartons point looking across to Southend (you can just see Dean hanging off the end)

an unconfirmed rumour states that they can be caught of the point in canvey....fambridge in the crouch is better and also holliwell point burnham. would also realy like to know more as would like to bring a "kite" or "dustbin lid" onshore myself. perhaps this could be my nemesis!! |
