Yes it's an ABU ultraMag XL. See my advert for the number III sized version of this reel in the for sale thread. There is normaly a sticker on the top of the cover over the level wind denoting the exact model. George. |

Can't claim it's a result of in depth knowledge. I only knew because I have one for sale. Brilliant casting reel but I wouldn't like to keep winching a six ounce weight and a bundle of weed back with one. Nice 2-3oz Bass reel. |

Mine looks in better condition than yours and I've had no interest. On that basis very little sadly. |

If the mechanics are good you might still get a few quid from a grass caster as some people still use them.
Why not continue using it - they were bloody good reels when they came out and theres nothing wrong with them now. Tourney conversions are still made for them so thats gotta say something for them. |
