Hi everyone reading this, I'm new to sea fishing and I have been TRYING to catch a cod in the past few weeks but nothing seem's to be getting caught recently. And I was wandering wot time of year do the cod start disapering from the Thames????

The cod season started october there is still codling being caught from the thames boats but they are slowly moving out.Hopefully there should be a spring run by april of coddling .Best chance of coddling from thames is by boat at the moment.

i caught a few early on in the season , but your right they seem to have buggered off..............heard they will come back latter.........i will watch this site to see when..........

Not if you fish the warren in stanford -le-hope .i was fishing all day with a mate .Twas a BLANKETY BLANK CHEQUE BOOK AND PEN !!!!!!!!!

Ive fished the Warren 15 times and caught twice both jacks!! They closed berwick from day tickets and only for Carpers. Hence one of the reasons why i got my sea rods out again.....
