Only the weight of the eyes.Size 6 'ook.

If that's Holofusion then you're going to spend an awful lot of time unfouling the tails. Clousers tied in the conventional way just don't work with limp synthetics. There is a way of tying them where they wont foul and tying directions can be found on Oz's website clicky (The UK importer of DNA products).

That's the method used to tie these:

Nice flys Simon. I can see distinct improvement in a few short weeks. Always useful to have your errors pointed out by more advanced tyers but well done all the same. Remember, Ivan is one of the most proficient fly tyers I have met and he is convinced that before long you will be tying better flies than he does. Have you thought about an evening class in fly tying? I'm sure a course is run in Havant. Then you can teach me, ha ha.
