i've been to the black jetty twice this week with meathead, tuesday one dab thursday one tiny whiting, there were 5 others on there thursday and when we left no one had caught anything absolutely dead out there, there didn't seem to be many seagulls behind the ships so i'm guessing the most of fish have followed the sprats out,if i was you i'd try somewhere else, but if you do decide to go black jetty make sure you wrap up it's bloody freezing out there. |

Def try Walton Pier, fished the black jetty with conni twice this week and i blanked both times! It was my first experience of the infamous jetty and even though i have yet to pop my cherry there it was still enjoyable and will be giving it another go soon. I agree with conni bout the sprats - i think they are thinning out but looks like the cod have followed em. What did the jetty fish like last year? Feb/March time. Whats happened to the Tropical Bri? Must be sunning himself in warmer climates! |
