Just thought I'd better warn you, there is a match at Sizewell on Saturday evening 6pm until 11pm. As far as the fishing is concerned , all you are likely to catch are soles, school bass and little eels. Best baits are ragworm and lugworm for the soles and bass and peeler crab for the eels. Best rig would be a two up one down paternoster with size 2 or 4 hooks. Ideally fish at night and don't cast too far. Ten yards is not too short! If you want to avoid the match, either go to Thorpeness to the south or Dunwich to the north. Same advice applies. If you have a spare rod you could try legering a large squid bait in close for a large bass but it is a long shot. Hope you manage to catch something.
Good luck.
