Location Blacpool Gynn wall
Baits used Mackeral strips and frozen black lugworm.
Terminal tackle 2 hook scratching rig with size 1 hooks (using lug)...
home brewed wishbone/pennel rig with size 2&1/0 hooks (using macky strips)
Weather dry and not much wind
Sea calm

Finally managed a session last night after a long lay off due to a combination of xmas and getting the flu . Would much rather have gone to Whitehaven but had to go to work sad .
Anyway arrived on the wall just on high water got set up one rod baited with mackerel and the other with frozen black lug . First cast pulled in a 10 inch whiting on the mackeral , then nothing for an hour .
Never seen the Gynn wall so deserted only 3 fishing at the bottom end .
Around 2.00am was thinking about packing up but got in to a run of half a dozen smallish dabs all falling to the lug .
Packed up and went home around 3.00am for a couple hours kip before setting off to work .
After reading how bad the Fylde coast has been fishing recently I went home feeling quite happy with my nights work . big grin big grin big grin
