Armed with rod ‘Anyfish Anywhere 13' 4" match rod’ and reel ‘Daiwa 7HT Mag’ 18lb line and 60lb leader.
Friday morning I decided to give the rod a practice cast with a 5oz led. A lot of line came off the reel in the following hour, well pleased with performance of rod and distance reached. The rod has a nice feel to it when going into the pendulum swing, some rods are too heavy and stiff or too soft, one breaks your back and the other --- well, forget that one! This rod you feel totally in control. It is light to hold and easy to cast.
