from west midlands

Hi All

Are there any fishermen out there who travel from the west midlands , to the coast to fish on a fairly regular basis. big grin

I would like to go a lot more , but its a long way to drive alone , so I'm sort of looking for a "fishing buddy" if you will.

Hey colin .
I,m near kidderminster & try to fish at least every month if not more.
Normally go with my work buddy (halesowen area) an go in my van.
maybe we can organise a trip & catch some fish.
Upto now have only tried bristol channel area and borth but am willing to go where the fish are.( within reason )

I would love to join you when you go. I have never fished the Bristol channel yet , but have fished a bit in the aberystwith/tywyn/aberdovey area when I drag the caravan up that way big grin

I am the same would like to travel but can not be bothered on my own.

Safer as a pair especially at night. If you are still looking to team up with someone I live in Fradley Lichfiled.

Hi Colin,
I think we have exchanged emials in the past. I live between Coventry and Rugby. Usually fish the solent area, Hurst round to Halying. I have also tried Chapel St Leonard in Lincs.
Try to go once a month, but have not made it this month. Keen to meet up with other angers from the midlands to share travel costs etc. Usually fish on a Saturday, and into the night.
