I have owned the 3.9 version for about a year now and compare it with my Shakespeare Salt. I did a review of it (see the rods section) about 9 months ago and basically I think they are very good value for the money. They cast well and seem tough and well made, in fact I am about to buy another. I particularly like the fact that they are a three piece rod making them easy to transport. Some folk may consider them to be a bit on the heavy side but at least I know (from a year's experience) that they don't fall to bits when coping with clumps of weed or being belted with a 6 oz sinker on board.

ive just ogt the 14ft multiplier, its a bit heavier than the 14ft longbeam and in comparison the tip is a bit sloppy. all things considered though i have found it to be a nice rod for its price and the service was second to none. i would recommend it in its price range.
