Yes it was a bit quiet wasnt it........
I ended up with one whiting and missed a knock on my rod, that will teach me to have a sip of my coffee  |

yes mate 4 rods in the water and we only managed 2 small whiting between us but i blanked again  |

i went to grays last night to use up bait just fished the flood, high tide was at 1810hrs rods in the water for 1600 very quite still and only 2 others fishing. 2 rods out 1 in close with a 3 hook flapper, other at range with a clipped pulley, lug squid and ragworm the chosen bait and rewarded with 1 single whiting about 6", cabrat popped down had a chat and took some pics of the venue, think i will leave it now untill the boat trip  |

At least you caught a fish mick.. nice one.. rag seems to be a good choice of bait at the mo.. was gonna pop down for high tide but too cosy in front of the fire..  |
