hi all,thinking of fishing the late afternoon tide tomorrow,want to stay in the southend area,so may do barge pier,southend pier, or any of the beaches, anybody got any recent reports,or advice,cant do nite tides as its back to work monday ,booo

nite tides seem to be better paolo but if u cant then if uj fish the pier try going around 4/5 hours b4 high water there a place called the gut that runs under the pier i think its around the peg num 264? sumthink like that anyway it floods as the tide comes in u cant miss it this is a very wide gully always have done well fishing there. as the tide floods in then so do the fish in theary crying might be worth a go, hope this may be of sum help to u.

thanks for the advice, i may try that tomorrow,i just stopped at the beach on my way home from town, two guys were fishing thorpe bay beach near the roslin hotel,they hadnt had anything,good luck mate
