Got permision from she who must be obeyed to go fishing today  .So i get my rod and gear and head over to the beach,Got to the end of my road(was walking over the beach and it was spitting but rain does not stop play) and all of a sudden thunderbolts and lightning very very frightning eek 8O .So i beat a hasty retreat back to my house  .
I want to go fishing but not enought to stand on an open beach in a thunder storm with 15ft of carbon in my hand :?
Still there is always tommorow 8)

Went fishing and caught nothing .Going to wait to the end of the week when the tide is in about 11pm.Should be nice and dark then and the catch rate always goes up in the dark 8)

At least you caught some thing, I went fishing today and caught carp 8O .
I took my 3 and half year old son over the lakes with my pole and he managed to send the fish into orbit  he watched the float it went under and i said lift so he did and the little carp got cattle polted out the water
He didn't do to bad and managed to catch a common around the 3-4lb mark before he fell in the lake (i couldn't stop laughing at him after that) and we had to come home

The boat caught record is 59 lb 8 oz, caught off Bridlington in 1989. Your mates fish is a very good specimen weight and would probably win him a fair bit of tackle for Fish of the month from the angling magazines, if he has pics etc! |
