big grin good nite fished 8pm till 3pm used 2/0 pulley rigs topped off with lug and squid and prawns...caught 1 1.5lb codling and 3 3-5lb codling 7 whiting and 2 doggies and 1 flounder nice colour in water and calm but cold. big grin

Nice result, good to see some nice size cod being caught. I've never fished westgate before, do you fish straight off the beach or is there a promanade down there. Do you get much of a problem with weed off there.

hi.tnx i go straight of the prom at high tide but off the rocks at low tide i have always found it good to fish here
