Fished around the strand towards the riverside park and caught nothing all i got was soaked. The when the tide started going out i walked around to the pier got there at around 5 or 6 and on squid and lug i caught 6 small whitting. as always better than notthing.

better than nothing m8 been fishing crap in strood I used to fish horrid hill up in gillingham few years back I dont know what its like now used to be pukka for the bass. happy

Right i know where you are on about now. Whats the fishing like up in strood mate if its any good we might try up that way next saturday

its normally good m8 but my last 3 trips ave been crap not even bites I fish near the m2 bridge at the moment not worth trying m8 be ok when it gets colder i think happy

Any fishing spots will be written down and we will have a go at all of them know of any others mate. Was just wondering why do people keep saying things will get better with the colder wheather whats all that about forgive my nievity confused

I used to live in gillingham so I have tryed probley all the spots up that way but my fav spot is at the start of riverside country park you will see a corner with a old ship wreck to your right and a few islands in front of you if your fishing with carp rods this spot is pukka there is hardly any run in the tide and its good fishing close in, good bait digging up this way as well.
as for the temp of the water I believe it is because the fish use the water temp as a sign to move further inshore and feed but I could be wrong m8 happy

Hi there. Thanks for the spots i was going to walk up that way when i was down near the strand on sunday. we're at the isle of sheppy on saturday but will probs try the ones you said on sunday again nice one mate big grin cool

Back again What you said about the water temp kind of makes sense I know one thing its freezing so the fishing has to be worth standing out in this bloody weather big grin big grin
