hi/ ive got an ambassadeur mag 2 with level wind does anybody know what it is used for ? i think it could be a lure type of reel but not sure and any ideas of how old it could be ? thx yb

If your talking about one of these they are a very reasonable casting reel - bit old now but still popular with tournament casters.

yes thats the 1 thx mudlark didnt know is was popular with tournament casters.
i ve only ever seen this 1 thought it maybe a bit old old cos ive had it about ten years but dont use it alot and you right it is a reasonable casting real thx yb

If you need spares then you might be able to get them off Pete Coogan (the Ambassadeur Surgeon General) on 0151 677 3609. He's a top bloke and knows more about Ambassadeurs than ABU .... and I'm not joking.
