Hello m8 i normally go there every year in November and it never fails to impress me that place(west arm).

I always go at night time and always take a pound of rag with me as well as lug and squid i normally fish the harbour side with a 2 hook flapper with the glow in the dark beads on with size 1 hooks, and the i will cast a cod bait out(if im lucky enough to get at the end, which will consist of a pennell pulley rig with size 3/0 on the bottom and a 1/0 top with lug and squid as bait.

Last year i had a 2lb codling in the harbour side with plenty of whiting and pout i caught the codling on my 2 hook flapper and with a carp rod(it thought well) winking .

Anyway good luck m8y happy
