Fished sea palling on sunday night not a very productive session landing a rockling on lug and a small flounder on lug tiped with squid... had a lot of bites but nothing came of them so am guessing they were tiny fish!

What condition was the tide???...... and what bait was used with what tackle????

not that i know the area where you fished just thought a bit more information may be of more help to other anglers who do fish this mark.

Good Luck on your next trip

WEll high tide was at 9:30 pm started fishing bout 8 and finished at half 11. baits used were lug tipped with squid which produced the fish. and lug and peeler on another rod at distance which produced nothing! tackle used was one hook pennel clipped down at a distance. and a 3 hook continental rig size 2 hooks on a light 13ft rod casted all over the place to find bites!

which bit of coast do u fish then hooked?

I fish along the beaches of the SOUTH EAST COAST from Kent to East Sussex. usually between Deal and Hastings, this includes venues such as Dover, Dungeness, Hythe, Kingsdown, St Leonards and Walmer.

Also, I like to boat fish when the opportunity arises.

Fished with several anglers who are also Members of this Forum, they all seem a very nice bunch.... Will be fishing Hastings Pier with Phildalt (another Forum Member) this Saturday (19th April).... looking for some early Bass and Plaice..... but in reality that means Rockling and Crabs... LOL
