Sorry mate i forgot to say im in somerset and postage is a problem as i cant find anyone that will take it. the reason im selling is i bought two and cant get on with multiplier so im sticking to fixed spool.

Most courier companies even post office will send it insured post.

| The post office will not accept parces over 56inches in length, I know I had difficlty posting to waverider and geggey-poos. I managed eventually with a local firm. All other major couriers were quoting me £50 upwards. Cheers keith |

I got a rod and reel donation for the help the heroes comp
Been struggling to get it there
However,after contacting rabbi2,to see which courier he used I rang them and they gave me a number for my local branch
Upto 15 kilos,no matter how many parcels,£12.75 inc vat!!!!!!
If you phone 0870 759 3599 ask if they will collect,they will give you your local depot

Hi guys,
I sold a couple of my fixed spool rods on ebay and had same problem...after contacting parcelforce (www.parcelforce.co.uk) they will collect from sender and deliver any thing upto 1kg for £14.99
All the details can be found on thier web page hope that helps out a bit

Try interparcel guys (I've sent plenty of long rods via them no probs - I usually scrounge a long piece of tubing off my local carpet shop and then cut to size and tape both ends) - they usually charge about £11.50 for 24 hour delivery and you can track it online.

I have used these twice to send rods to the North east, delivered in 24 hrs ,no probs. Rest of Couriers taking the P*SS when it comes to rods... |
