Hi folks I'm a rookie at the sea fishing and looking for advice.
Been pike fishing for 20 years so not a complete novice, but I fancy some fishing off the coast around my area (Ayr).
Are there any marks nearby worth trying?
Not looking to be battering bait out 100 yards+, just some fishing off the rocks.
Also would my piking rods and reels be ok to try it out before I decide to invest in specialist gear?

Hi,
Just wondering if you are still after information on this one. I used to fish in Prestwick and Ayr an awful lot. I now live in south Wales however still have a load of information on shore fishing in Prestwick and Ayr if you would like it.
