Hi guys
i fish most weekends at cleveleys and as we know the fishing hasn't been great i believe that has been due to the riverdance this is an update on the road closure i heard on the radio a few days ago. The work is nearly complete i would say about the middle of next month and we could see the road reopening again, we have seen a difference in the fishing as the catches are getting a little better. The next problem on our beaches could be united utility's as the boat could have done some damage to the sewerage pipe off cleveleys if the test goes ok then we may see the road staying open after the riverdance as i am involved with the utility's forum ill keep you upto date with it but nothing is due to start untill april next year anyway.
[UPDATE]
We should now see within the next seven days the contractors move out the last bit to be done is to riddle the sand to bring up any remaining metal still left in the sand last sat as i was pumping bate i did see a large piece of aluminum at fleetwood. depending on what the road suffice is like we may see the road back open again soon. please check this post again for the final update hopefully next week. i read you reporting the crap in the sea i am due to attend the uu forum meeting in nov i will try to get some answers as to why for you although it could have been fly tippers up the coast that sort of crap cannot come from anywhere else |

Hi Ya All, Glad it's not just me catching used tampexs at Rossal, seriuosly There seems to be a load of crap coming ashore at Rossal and larkholme, not convinced that it is fly tippers. |

Hi, i also got a load of foam on the night tide about 2 weeks ago. Its not good trying to reel it in after it gets on your line. |
