Coming down to Folkestone Pier tomorrow (early) for some piece and quiet!
Anyone fancy coming from the London area, can always offer a lift for some petrol contribution!

Yes mate not far from you just off Windmill Hill ,had week off last week fished 5 times ,4 times Admiralty pier and last saturday night with my mate till 23.30 at Hythe .Had 2 good/ 2 poor trips to pier the highlights being a 13 inch Dover sole and 6 codlings ,1 undersize 4 about a 1lb or just under but did one at 4lb 2 oz ........As for Hythe with mate 1 school bass in daylight and god only knows how many 8inch whitings after dark.
Best of luck in morning, cheers Richard |

Just got back to London!
Had a good day, Morning was nice and calm hardly any wind and not to cold. Got on the pier around 7am and within 10min and a good size codling!
Have a picture on my mobile (will post in later) and will weigh it to see the weight.
After that just whiting and pouting.....a total of 9 fish for the day.
The afternoon got a bit more windy and the tide was really stong, no matter where I cast within 1 min it was slammed into the pier!
Lost a fair amount of gear!
But a nice relaxing day!
