Hi ,
I have never fished it but have swam there on holidays, however i can tell you it is full of kelp so may be good for pollock but prepare to lose plenty of tackle, kelp is is like the steel of the sea. If you hook it your gonna have trouble freeing it.
hope this helps

| Are you sure you mean Lulworth Cove as it's neither sandy or within easy walking distance from any rail station. Lulworth holds a good head of Wrasse, as well as the chance of Pollock and an occasional Conger. |

Hi Wyldcat
I live in Weymouth and frequently fish the pleasure and stone pier and down into the harbour , for small wrasse rag always catches and I use macky strips for most other species like Pollack, Shad etc, also sandeel for doggies.
You can also walk down to the beach and fish by the Greenhill gardens all the way around to Bowleaze (buses are frequent).
Not sure whats coming out down the beachas I have not spoken to any one who fishes it at the mo.
Only been down hear a few months so still learning the area and sea fishing as well but hope this helps a little.
