Hi All fished walton Pier today from 9.00/5.00 high tide at 5.00pm ish caught 2 good cod 3 1/2 lb and 4 1/2 lb both within 20 mins of each other at about 2.30 ish which is unusual for her as most fish caught on the ebb tide, spoke to a local who said has been fishing realy well all week so well his mrs has told him not to bring any more cod home or they will have to open a chip shop!.
we have been fishing there once a week for last three weeks havent blanked yet most bring home size.
Best spot if you can get it right to the end (3/4 mile) right hand corner.
Excellent worms supplied by metcalf tackle in Walton, nice Cafe to on the corner too.
