Early day for me, up at 3.30am, washed, dressed and fed and out at 4.40am to pick the brother-in-law up to run the family to Manchester Airport, Back home at 7 am On my way with Manic_muppet, Fishingwithfrank, H4ppy chris and his lad Sam and also my young un Dean.
We decided to fish Blue bridge which has been as hot spot for me in the past. Plenty of bait, good company but alas not fish except for a flounder no bigger than the palm of my hand which fell to franks rod. Mick of course was catching crabs as usual as for myself and chris, zilch, nowt.

Dont get me wrong it was a glorious day the weather couldn't have been better. By the time we lost the tide at the bridge I was knackered and decided to call it a day whilst frank and mick fishede the wyre estuary. Frank had a good knock but all to no avail whilst mick landed a small rockling.

A word of warning lads, when tired let someone else take over. Thanks to chris who spotted that I was getting tired and took over the driving on the way back as it had crept up on me without realising it.
A good friend, thanks again Chris
