Great rods for the price mike , alough pretty much a clean ground rod , they work well , comes with an abu griplock reelseat and plenty of tip action , not the best of rods for a walloping cast of a 6/7 oz lead , seems to be the feeling of "is this gonna snap "....... again nice rod for the price ,

Dont know about the 13ft, but i have a 12ft esprit myself.
I agree completely with cuckool, mine is tippy!! doesn't stand up to strong tide too well either. If you are looking for a rod to launch a 6/7oz weight with lug worms in tow, i dont think it will be strong enough. My other ABU rod, An ABU Suveran, now thats a different matter altogether. |
