:idea: You can check where other forum members are located through the Members List [Button] (3rd down on the left hand side)... ...then sort by location.... that may help

But..... when I tried this under Ramsgate is Only Roger ... LOL :oops:

I know Bigguy is in your direction and I am sure many more..... maybe start a post with an appropriate heading like Thanet Anglers or Ramsgate Anglers :?:

I would like to also add a point and when posting on the forums its a great idea to add keywords to the title of the post as after around a week if you havnt had any success with your post If the heading is right it normally will be seen in google search etc :wink: Then people on google searching for your area will see your question turn up happy

I see this happen all the time :wink:

So a post heading like " Fishing Thanet area " will work a treat as opposed to ..... Help needed, Hi, where? and two recent posts are cloughton wyke, Deal? These could have been "Fishing Cloughton Wyke" or "Fishing Deal" just by adding one keyword those posts could get seen by hundreds etc.

This post really goes out to all members really and is just to say it is very important to post better keyword titles when posting if possible happy

hi roger i too live in thanet in margate i often fish ramsgate'deal pier.
you will find this site very useful indeed i am relitivly new to fishing but i have gained alot of knowledge through the helpful people on this site just by reading everything so read away ,enjoy and maybe see you out there someday. tight lines and good luck

GOOD SHOUT GUYS , WOULD NORMALLY PUT UP SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND WILL IN FUTURE , BUT ONLY FOUND SITE LATE LAST NIGHT , WAS HALF ASLEEP AND THOUGHT A QUICK INTRODUCTION , 2 SAY HELLO WAS BETTER THAN NUFING . CHEERS big grin

hi roger only peir fishing at mo been boat fishing once in turkey and once in maldives but would love to go in the uk and i would like to beach fish but my casting needs some work. i have been reading up on saltwater fly and i am extremely interested in this wot about yourself

hiya. yes that does sound interesting. drop me a p.m. with ur details , have a boat in ramsgate harbour , if u fancy trying boat fishing will sort a trip out , that will sort out ur casting problem ha ha
