Try posting in the South forum there is more activity. Not sure myself as i haven't fished there in a while now, the conditions have always been too bad for the trips i've planned. But i can probably forecast wind and rain again!!!! Hope somebody else can help you, Mike Roberts. |

hi, sue. made the two hour trip from Bristol to chesil beach on saturday morning (west bexington), fished for 5 hours and didnt catch a thing diffficult to fish due to the high wind and waves of about 12ft, stuck with it due to the effort in getting there spoke to other anglers who were there and they never had any luck the only good news was it only rained when we packed up. lost abit of tackle due to the weight being burried in the shingle. hope you have better luck. |

Please do let us know how you get on and where you went. I'm goin to Chesil most of next week, weather permitting, and taking my son with me for the fist time so would like ot catch one or two, just so he still thinks I'm Superman - which of course I am ! Best of Luck |

Ossie,
Chesil is dead mate. Me and my pals been there over the last few weeks with very little results. I have posted comments also with lots of agreements from members on here. Not sure whats going on. Could be trawlers could be weather. Fingers crossed next year. However heard that the old harbour in Weymouth is ok. Also if you do go to Chesil as always be careful and watch the conditions it can be dangerous!

A group of us went down a while ago it was heavy going, big, big waves and not much fish action, next day went to weymouth old harbour and it was easy ,relaxed fishing - fish - maccy, garfish, bream, and wrasse not all big but fun.
