Headlight bargain!

i went to my local argos in castlepoint today! you know the led light that is £7.99 it had 20% off so i thought i will buy it. typed it in to see if the had any in stock and well it said £3.99 inc 3 batteries big grin

thats a bargain if you ask me! big grin

i got home and went in the bathroom and turned lights off etc so it was pitch black worried

turned the light on and it is brilliant and very bright!

if you are after a decent led headlight then get one of these!

yayyy, ive got 2 £3.00 in Netto, you can also pick em up in the cheap shops on the coast. i saw some in Skeggy. big grin

it doesnt say a make on ti all it has is led headlight! type it in on argos its the one at £7.99

i got a nice LED for £7:99 from woolworths has 8 LEDs and 3 settings nice and light, and if your tackle shop sells reflective tape stick a couple of thin strips on your rod tip and it lights it up like a christmas tree big grin

Used to make me laugh in the good old days before headlights when fishing off Blackpool North Pier and all we had were clip on bells. Night time some sods bell would tinkle and everyone made a grab for their rod thinking it was bonanza day. About 8 to 10 fishermen would start reeling in, in hope that it was theirs. lol devil

I used to watch Blind Football on Blackpool Beach. Basically it was the same a normal footie, but with a ball with a bell in it so the the players would know where it was. It was quite a match until the unpleasantness when a poor donkey got kicked into the sea!
