anybody got any ideas ....... i have an Abu Suveran XP at the moment love the rod, except it is very stiff in the top half and doesnt show bites very well, although its the bee's knees for fishing in the winter or rough weather.....
Would like a lighter rod to use through the summer, but not as light as a bass rod, and something which will stand up too a long cast.......
But heres the downfall, i dont want to spend a fortune, as i have deep pockets and short arms!!
Does anybody have any suggestions?? |

Thanks Eccles, I think i am going to go for the shakespeare option, the only thing is, what is the bite detection like, as i cant seem to find any mention of it. Can find lots of views that say it casts well, but none that say what it fishes like |

All I can say is that the rod seems to pick up micro-bream doing their little jigs and some of them weigh less than 4 ozs. |
