There is free parking at the multi storey car park (ignore the 4 hour limit).
If you're fishing the East arm, best bet is to drop off a mate with the gear at the beginning of the arm and then drive back to and park in the multi storey and leg it back to the arm. Otherwise it's a long walk from the car park with all your gear. |

I have seen people fishing on the arm/wall next to that car park.
Have you ever fished there? is it any good?

Don't fish it personally, I always find it's too crowded. I prefer the East arm as there's generally more room and tends to less snaggy once you get past bay 15 or so. |

I'm very interested in trying out Brighton marina!
Perhaps the next day with nice weather!
I am fairly new to sea fishing, do you think I would catch using feathers + spinners or would you recommend just a plain and simple float with mackerel bait.
I'm not sure which would be best considering I have a 9.6ft coarse fishing rod and only a 4lb line. I'm hoping to buy a sea rod, I've started saving up for one :
edit - do you reckon monday or wednesday next week look good? |
