left work early today for a change,as it was a nice day i decided on a mullet sesh,a new spot got there an hour before high tide, and had a few knocks and rattles, then dead on high tide the rod tip yanked round and after a very spirited fight, lasting about 5 mins,i landed this good looking fit 4 lber,

thats worth a bronze award from the NMC,so thats a gold and bronze this month, happy days

no mate i dont eat them, they are far the best fighting fish in the sea and i love catching them, also it is one of the rules of the mullet club that they are all returned unless they are badly hooked etc,so we all weigh photograph and return them as soon as we can after landing,
also i fish round sewage pipes for them and they regularly suck on toilet roll and thats one marinade i could do without,
