Hi kieran, most tackle shops close to the coast should have live rag and lug in stock, as for how long they keep depends firstly how fresh they are.
Some people put them in a tray in the fridge with just a covering of sea water, changing the water regularly and removing any dead worms.

I usually keep them wrapped in newspaper with a little moist peat, and again check for dead worms, and wrap in fresh paper as often as possible.
The longest i have kept them is about 4 days but have always used them up before they have died.

Cos they give off chemicals which are likely to kill the other worms. Happened to me only last week (boo hoo).

You can only freeze lug, as cookiemonster said after you gut them.

Rag just turn to mush when defrosted.
