Hi all
Went to Felixstowe about a week or so ago, fished opposite the Manor End carpark, 4hours before HT, only 1 undersize whiting!!. Its pretty poor at the moment, same comments from all fishing shops I visited.
I have been told that from Feb 13th it should pick up, it does so every year apparently because of the moon phases. This info I gleened from an old fisherman who lives and fishes in Felixstowe. I hope he is right as I am getting a bit fed up with laying out the money for bait etc and throwing it into the sea.
Nick any news from you?, or any others that have fished there recently.
Regards

No sorry can not report anything as its been a while since i've been. What little I have heard has been that little is being caught. Not heard anything from Aldeburgh either.
North Suffolk seems to be getting some action.
Might manage a trip towards the end of the month, so an upturn in fish would be welcome. Some guys from Leader Lines are planning a trip on 18th to Landguard so it might be busy. |

Hearing about a good number of fish up to 4lb being caught further north - Kessingland and Pakefiled etc. Though also lots of small fish and weed problems
Anyone got any news about Felixstowe area as i need to get the gear out and give it a go ?
